Q: I am an Xavier alum and the biggest problem facing the Muskies all year was the lack of a point guard. Both of our point guards were recruited as shooting guards and as a result they are prone to turnovers. So how can the Muskies try to nullify Pitt's advantage at the point?

Fittipaldo: I would say press Fields and not allow the Panthers to get into their half-court sets so easily. But from what I hear Sean Miller doesn't press all that much. I know he could change things up for this game and throw a press at Pitt, but it's not something his players have had much experience with.
In any other case, I would say Xaiver has to hope Fields has one of his rare off games. Fields vs. two younger point guards is something Pitt coach Jamie Dixon likely will attempt to exploit. Fields could be the key to the game.
