Q: What "trap-door" does Pitt have to avoid in order to get the the Elite 8?

FITTIPALDO: I take it you mean Pitt can't overlook Xavier and think about Villanova or Duke on Saturday. I think you are correct and many of the players spoke on that matter following the Oklahoma State game on Sunday. Sam Young said this team has overlooked teams in the past and it came back to "bite the team in the butt."

This team has had so many NCAA tournament heartbreaks in the past, so I can't imagine a scenario where the Panthers will underestimate Xavier. The Musketeers have advanced to the Elite twice in the past five years, including last season. Sean Miller does a good job coaching them, so it will be a challenge.
