A rundown of construction projects affecting traffic and transit in the region.

Allegheny County

East Carson Street -- South 26th Street and South 28th Street are closed at intersections with East Carson through mid-April. Intermittent lane restrictions may occur on East Carson from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through mid-April.

Fort Pitt, Squirrel Hill tunnels -- Traffic will be restricted to a single lane at various times tonight through Thursday night as the tunnels are cleaned. Restrictions will be in place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night -- tonight and Monday night in the inbound Squirrel Hill Tunnel; Tuesday night in the inbound Fort Pitt Tunnel; and Wednesday and Thursday in the outbound Fort Pitt Tunnel.

Interstate 79, Kennedy -- Daily single lane closures will occur in both directions between Exit 60 (Crafton) and Exit 64 (Coraopolis) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow through Friday.

Liberty Tunnels -- Outbound lanes are closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays through late April.

New Kensington Bridge -- One-way alternating traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting tomorrow and continuing through Friday during routine inspection of bridge that carries Ninth Street over the Allegheny River in East Deer.

Parkway North -- Lane closures, traffic shifts and ramp closures possible on various nights and weekends from Camp Horne Road to the junction with Interstate 79 in Franklin Park, through December, as preservation work continues. Also, short-term lane and shoulder closures this week in both directions from Camp Horne Road to the Fort Duquesne Bridge daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through next Sunday for guide rail work, sign installation and concrete sawing and sealing.

Route 28, North Side/Etna -- One outbound lane closed for wall construction near the old Heinz plant, through August. Also, single lane closure on outbound side from the Etna interchange to the Highland Park Bridge, through early June.

Route 28, Harmar -- Weekday lane closures in both directions starting tomorrow from south of the Harmar/Route 910 interchange (Exit 11) to the Creighton interchange (Exit 13). Northbound traffic down to one lane 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., southbound restricted to one lane from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ravine Street, Etna -- Closed to vehicles starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow from Sharphill Road in O'Hara and High Street in Sharpsburg. Open to pedestrians when possible.

Route 65, Avalon -- Lane closures and restrictions from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in both directions from Fisk Avenue to Elizabeth Avenue tomorrow night through May 22 during sewer work. Lane closures also will occur on New Brighton Road from Union Avenue to Norwood Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow through May 15.

Route 910, Richland -- Alternating one-way traffic on Gibsonia Road (Route 910) in the area of the bridge over Willow Run near the intersection with Grubbs Road starting tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday. Flag crews will control traffic as crews do prep work for a future bridge replacement.

Tri-Boro Expressway -- The Tri-Boro Expressway/Braddock Avenue closed in both directions from O'Connell Boulevard to Cable Avenue for bridge replacement. Also, East Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard closed from Elder Street to the Tri-Boro Expressway. Main Street under the bridge closed from Braddock Avenue to Bessemer Avenue, all until late this year.

Westinghouse Bridge -- Two lanes closed, single-lane traffic maintained in each direction, until November.

Beaver County

Beaver Valley Expressway (Route 60) -- Single lane in each direction from Hopewell to Aliquippa interchanges, around-the-clock till April 30.

Fayette County

Northgate Highway -- Closed nightly starting tomorrow from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Confer Drive to Wendy Drive in North Union during bridge work for Mon-Fayette Expressway. Closures continue nightly until April 3.

Lawrence County

Route 168 -- Galilee Road Bridge closed for replacement between Wampum Road and Mill Street, North Beaver, through mid-October. The posted detour has a temporary stop sign at Route 18 and Halltown Road. PennDOT is working with state police to increase enforcement in this area as many are ignoring the sign.

Washington County

Charleroi-Monessen Bridge -- Closed indefinitely after inspection revealed structural deficiencies. A public meeting on plans to repair or replace it is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday at Lock Four Fire Department, Orange Street and Isabella Avenue, North Charleroi.

Elsewhere

Interstate 80 -- Lane closures and restrictions to occur at various times during maintenance work between the Brookville (Exit 78) and Reynoldsville (Exit 86) interchanges in Jefferson County, until September.
