Bald eagles always look mad. Maybe all that "spread eagle" posing for the dollar bill has taken its toll. Nevertheless, ever since the distinctive predator out-polled the lumbering wild turkey for national bird and symbol of the United States, people have taken to seeking it in its natural habitat just to get a look. In an inventive spin on the Pennsylvania state parks system's new series of upscale eco-tours, Pymatuning State Park will host a Pymatunig Eagle Weekend. $45 plus cabin rental ($90 to $135 per night) includes some meals and transportation to locations in the Pymatuning area to observe bald eagles and other raptors.
