The games: Peters Township (21-2) vs. Seneca Valley (16-7), 8 p.m. tomorrow, North Allegheny; North Hills (17-7) vs. Mt. Lebanon (20-4), 8 p.m. tomorrow, Chartiers Valley.
Leading scorers: Nick Wilcox, Peters Township (21.4); Evan Pierce, Mt. Lebanon (18.6); Cody Patton, North Hills (18.2); Craig Wolcott, Peters Township (16.0); C.J. Brown, Seneca Valley (14.0).
The skinny: Seneca Valley coach Victor Giannotta, in his fifth season, was Peters Township's coach for three years before coming to Seneca Valley. Peters Township is the No. 1 seed and the Indians allow only 48 points a game while scoring 64. They got a lift in the quarterfinals when Corey Wilcox returned after missing two weeks with an injured ankle. The injury was first believed to be a broken ankle. Seneca Valley's Brown, a Maryland football recruit, has scored 18 and 23 points in the Raiders' first two playoff games. "The key for us is to continue to play good defense and we need to contain Brown," said Peters Township coach Gary Goga. "I don't know who is a better athlete in the WPIAL than Brown. You can talk all you want about [Beaver Falls] Todd Thomas, but this Brown kid is something. He's relentless." ... Mt. Lebanon's size advantage could present some problems to North Hills. The Blue Devils start 6-8 Deion Turman and 6-5 Paul Lang. Pierce also is a talented junior guard who is getting a little Division I college attention. North Hills' Patton has scored 22 points in three consecutive games.
Predicted winners: Peters Township and Mt. Lebanon.

The skinny: Chartiers Valley is in a semifinal game for the 11th time in the past 15 years. "I'm watching tape on Highlands and think they are a mirror image of our team," said Chartiers Valley coach Tim McConnell. "They're not that big, but they're athletic, they drive it, shoot it and defend." Chartiers Valley averages 13 3-pointers a game and Highlands 10. Chartiers Valley has had at least four players in double figures in every game. Highlands has five players averaging in double figures. A key will be how well Highlands defends. The Rams allow 65 points a game. ... Hampton's Donegan could be a difference. He has averaged 18.7 the past three games. Moon guard Jason Jacobs also is worth watching. He has scored 20 or more four of the past seven games. Moon is trying to make it to a title game for the fifth time in six seasons.
Predicted winners: Hampton and Chartiers Valley.
The games: Jeannette (21-3) vs. South Fayette (18-6), 8 p.m. tomorrow, Baldwin; Monessen (15-8) vs. North Catholic (22-2), 8 p.m. tomorrow, Canon-McMillan.
Leading scorers: Jordan Hall, Jeannette (23.0); Jesse Long, North Catholic (16.2); Mike Lamberti, South Fayette (15.9); Henry Pwono, North Catholic (14.1).
The skinny: Jeannette beat South Fayette in the quarterfinals last year, also at Baldwin. A streak will be broken because Jeannette has won 14 in a row, and South Fayette 18 consecutive. Although Hall is talented for Jeannette, Moziah Harris could be a key. He has averaged 14.8 the past 13 games. How well South Fayette point guard Pat Zedreck handles Jeannette's pressure will be a key. ... Monessen is a surprise semifinalist. The Greyhounds had to win a preliminary round game just to get to the field of 16. Monessen sophomore forward Terrance Stepoli averages 13 points. At one point in a recent game, Monessen had five sophomores on the floor.
Predicted winners: North Catholic and Jeannette.
The games: Sewickley Academy (19-4) vs. Clairton (14-6), 8 p.m. today, Keystone Oaks; Serra (20-2) vs. Neshannock (17-6), 8 p.m. today, Northgate.

Peter Schramm, a 6-7 junior center who transferred from Knoch at the start of the school year, has come on and been a force for Sewickley Academy. He has averaged 18.8 the past five games. ... Serra averages 80 points a game, second best in the WPIAL behind Chartiers Valley (84.5). Neshannock must find a way to control the Heatherington brothers.

Leading scorers: Embry Williams, Schenley (19.7); Sofion Moore, Oliver (16.8).
The skinny: Allderdice lost to Schenley, 57-55, in the first game of the season, but Allderdice is a much different team now. The Dragons are playing better than any City League team, winning 13 of their past 14. Will Clarke, a 6-6 senior center, is the team's top scorer. If Williams and Jacob Fine get hot, Schenley has a chance. ... Oliver and Perry split two games. Senior forward Vaughn Morgans will be a key. He had only nine points in the loss to Oliver, but 17 in the win.
Predicted winners: Allderdice and Oliver.
The games: Mt. Lebanon (24-0) vs. Oakland Catholic (17-7), 6 p.m. tomorrow, Chartiers Valley; Gateway (15-10) vs. Fox Chapel (19-4), 6 p.m. tomorrow, North Allegheny.
Leading scorers: Destiny Brown, Gateway (20.8); Colleen Kiss, Oakland Catholic (16.0).
The skinny: Oakland Catholic, Fox Chapel and Gateway are from Section 2. ... Gateway is probably the biggest surprise of the playoffs, regardless of classification. The Gators are the No. 15 seed. The Gators lost twice to Fox Chapel (53-41 and 67-42). Brown is only a freshman who already has a scholarship offer from Rutgers. Pitt, Penn State, Connecticut and Michigan State also have been to Gateway to show interest. ... Oakland Catholic's biggest problem will be Mt. Lebanon's defense. Mt. Lebanon has held eight of the past nine opponents to 40 points or less.
Predicted winners: Mt. Lebanon and Fox Chapel.
The games: New Castle (22-2) vs. South Park (18-6), 6 p.m. today, North Allegheny; Indiana (21-3) vs. West Mifflin (18-6), 6 p.m. today, North Hills.
Leading scorers: Nicole Doria, South Park (17.2); Shelby Rodgers, New Castle (15.1).
The skinny: New Castle and South Park is a meeting in the middle. South Park was in Class AA last year and won the WPIAL title. New Castle was in AAAA a year ago. Doria leads South Park in scoring, but New Castle must also worry about Laurel Lindsay, who has averaged 21 points in three playoff games. ... West Mifflin will face a balanced Indiana team that hasn't had a player score 20 points this season.
Predicted winners: Indiana and New Castle.

The skinny: Sto-Rox vs. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart presents an interesting guard matchup between Connolly and McGrath. Connolly is on a roll lately, averaging 23.2 points the past five games. ... Seton-LaSalle is trying to beat South Fayette for the third time. The first two were by 47-39 and 37-30. Gattuso is averaging 20 points in two playoff games and South Fayette must try to control the junior forward. Gattuso is the daughter of Pitt assistant football coach Greg Gattuso.
Predicted winners: Sto-Rox and Seton-LaSalle.

The skinny: Mount Alvernia, North Catholic and Vincentian are from Section 4. ... If two meetings this season are any indication, Vincentian will need a monumental effort to beat North Catholic. Vincentian lost the first two meetings, 66-46 and 70-46. ... Quigley has three players averaging 15 points or more and leads the WPIAL in scoring at 67.4 points.
Predicted winners: North Catholic and Quigley.
