No. 4 Pitt defeated DePaul, 80-61, tonight at the Petersen Events Center.
Sophomore center DeJuan Blair led the Panthers (25-2, 12-2) with 20 and 18 rebounds. Sam Young added 16, Tyrell Biggs 13 and Jermaine Dixon 11.
Blair set a school record for most rebounds in a two-game stretch, breaking the previous record of 38 that was held by Jerome Lane in 1987. Blair, who had 22 points and 23 rebounds in Pitt's victory over No. 1 Connecticut Monday night, grabbed 41 rebounds against the Huskies and Blue Demons.
