Two men robbed a pizza delivery man yesterday in German Township, Fayette County, threatening to shoot him if he did not comply, state police said.
Jeremy M. Luzella, 22, of Lake Lynn, told investigators he had been called to deliver food to a residence on Long Street in German Township's Edinborn section.
As soon as he got out of his vehicle, between 7:45 and 8 p.m., he was accosted by a suspect. While the robber demanded money, a second suspect urged his companion to shoot the victim, police said.
The first suspect behaved as though he had a gun, though police did not say he produced one.
The victim said the robbers took his personal cash, $338, a pizza and the box warmer containing it, and $20 the victim carried from his Masontown store.
The suspects were described only as one white male in his 20s and one black male
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call state police in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.
