The city's closing of Fifth Avenue between Liberty Avenue and Wood Street, Downtown, for the removal of a tower crane will detour several Port Authority bus routes through Tuesday.
Detoured due to the work are the 500 Highland Park-Bellevue, 61A East Pittsburgh-Wilkinsburg, 61B Braddock-Swissvale, 61C McKeesport-Homestead, 61D Summerset, 61F Homestead Park, 71A Negley, 71C Wilkinsburg-East Liberty, 71D Hamilton, 77A Oakmont, 77B Penn Hills, 77C Shadyside, 78A Oakmont Express, 78C Shadyside Express, B Bellevue Flyer, CO Coraopolis Flyer and OV Ohio Valley Flyer.
Outbound 61A East Pittsburgh-Wilkinsburg, 61B Braddock-Swissvale, 61C McKeesport-Homestead, 61D Summerset and 61F Homestead Park buses will use Liberty Avenue to Sixth Avenue to the Smithfield Street bus lane and resume regular routing on Fifth Avenue.
Outbound 71A Negley, 71C Wilkinsburg-East Liberty and 71D Hamilton buses will follow Stanwix Street to Liberty Avenue to Sixth Avenue to the Smithfield Street bus lane and resume regular routing on Fifth Avenue.
Outbound 500 Highland Park-Bellevue buses will follow Sixth Street to Liberty Avenue to Sixth Avenue to the Smithfield Street bus lane and resume regular routing on Fifth Avenue.
Outbound 77A Oakmont, 77B Penn Hills, 77C Shadyside, 78A Oakmont Express and 78C Shadyside Express will follow Liberty Avenue to Gateway Center to Sixth Avenue to the Smithfield Street bus lane and resume regular routing on Fifth Avenue.
Inbound B Bellevue Flyer, CO Coraopolis Flyer and OV Ohio Valley Flyer will follow Liberty Avenue to Sixth Avenue and resume regular routing on Grant Street.
