Friday, February 06, 2009

An Armstrong County man was arrested early today on charges that he used a rifle to shoot out the tires of a tow truck that was to be used to repossess his SUV.

David O'Donnell is free on $30,000 bond, pending a preliminary hearing on a charge of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and reckless endangerment, state police said.

Lori and Bruce Beck II arrived around 5 a.m. to take back Mr. O'Donnell's vehicle at his residence on Parker Pike in Parker, Allegheny Township.

The Becks also face charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct, police said.

Neither of the Becks was injured, police said.
