Gerry Dulac's Forecast: Super Bowl XLIII
Sunday, February 01, 2009
Pittsburgh Steelers (14-4) vs. Arizona Cardinals (12-7)

6:28 p.m., Super Bowl XLIII, Raymond James Stadium

• The Cardinals have been everything in the postseason that they were not in the regular season -- a team that has used a hearty defense and a running game to complement a passing game that, right now, looks unstoppable with Larry Fitzgerald. But Dick LeBeau has built a resume shutting down big-play receivers and keeping them under control. The Steelers left a lot of points on the field because of dropped passes against the Ravens, keeping the game from being a blowout against the league's No. 2 defense. Imagine how the offense will enjoy playing in warm weather for a change?

Prediction: Steelers, 27-13

Dulac's mark • Title games: 2-0 (1.000) • Season record: 171-95 (.643)
