Rankin boxer Monty Meza-Clay is scheduled to fight a 12-round, title-elimination bout against Jorge Solis Jan. 31 in Guadalajara, Mexico, with the winner set to fight International Boxing Federation featherweight champion Cristobal Cruz in springtime.

The fight is scheduled to be broadcast by Azteca Americana and Mexicana television.
