DENVER -- The bad news just doesn't stop for the Penguins.
Winger Ruslan Fedotenko will be out 4-to-6 weeks because of a broken right hand received during a fight with Colby Armstrong of Atlanta Tuesday.
To replace him, they recalled forward Chris Minard from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre. Minard leads the American Hockey League with 26 goals and is tied for second in points with 41.
He has one goal and one assist in 15 games with the Penguins this season.
The Penguins, coming off a 5-3 loss at Nashville Thursday, will play Colorado at the Pepsi Center Saturday at 3:08 p.m.
