A Butler County man suspected in three bank robberies has been arrested in Ohio.
Robbery charges already had been filed against Walter Cody Tribble, 34, of Slippery Rock, in connection with a robbery last week of a Citizens Bank branch in Center, Butler County.
State police said he also will be charged with the robbery Monday of a NexTier Bank branch in Slippery Rock.
Investigators said the robber entered the bank around 11:20 a.m. Monday, showed a teller a pistol and demanded money.
The amount taken has not been disclosed.
Eleven hours later, Liberty Township police in Trumbull County, Ohio, along with Pennsylvania state police, apprehended the suspect.
Yesterday, Butler city police said he would be charged with the Dec. 22 robbery of the National City branch on Center Avenue.
Mr. Tribble is to be extradited to Butler County for arraignment on the charges.
