Rob Robinson scored 17 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and had 3 blocked shots to lead Robert Morris men to a 77-70 victory against Mount St. Mary's last night at Emmitsburg, Md.

The Colonials (8-7, 3-1 Northeast) used a 17-2 spurt early in the second half to rally from an 11-point first-half deficit.

Robert Morris also outrebounded the Mountaineers, 46-30, and had 18 second-chance points.

Jeremy Chappell, who added 17 points and eight rebounds for the Colonials, had a three-point play with 1:55 left to seal the win. Robert Morris also was 10 for 12 from the free-throw line in the final 1:10.

Jean Cajou scored 17 points for the Mountaineers (5-9, 0-3), who were hurt by their 10-for-19 performance from the free-throw line in the final nine minutes.

Monet Johnson had 15 points as Robert Morris women (5-8, 3-0) stayed perfect in the NEC with a 60-46 victory against host Mount St. Mary's(5-7, 0-3).
