Saturday, December 13, 2008
Twinkle ballistic, $5.75.

Lush, the upbeat British brand of hand-made cosmetics, now has two outposts in Pittsburgh. Macy's Downtown and at South Hills Village both feature in-store boutiques stocked with novel cosmetics that have captivated the likes of Jude Law, Halle Berry and Jessica Biel. Lush products are 100 percent vegetarian, 74 percent vegan, 65 percent preservative-free and never tested on animals. Its ethical and innovative approach to skin, hair, body and bath products has made the company a leader in eco-chic, with beauty-delis slated for 23 additional Macy's stores. Added to existing mall and street locations, the company hopes to have 250 stores in America by next year.

This season, Lush is featuring a full line of holiday-themed stocking stuffers that are the perfect introduction to the cosmetic grocer's wares. From bath bombs that fizz when they hit the water to bubble bars that unleash essential oils, shampoos, moisturizers, lip balm and everything in between, Lush offers a fresh take on the tried and true. Look for the holiday gift boxes, too!
