
The Christmas clock is ticking -- two weeks until Santa comes. There's lots to do in your neighborhood to get in the spirit.
Bethel Park Community Foundation will host its annual Tower Concert Series Holiday Music Festival at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Park Community Center, 5151 Park Ave. The free program, performed by Community Band South, the Southminster Ringers and Bethel Park High School's Top 21 Chorus, will include sacred and secular songs, and the traditional sound of handbells.
Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, will hold these Christmas Eve services on Dec. 24, as follows:
Children's Christmas Hour, 3 p.m, led by Bill Beatty: Child-friendly worship, with music by the Rhymes and Rhythms Choir.
Contemporary, led by Mr. Beatty, 5 p.m.
Traditional, led by Duane Thompson: 7 p.m., with music by the Carol, Boy and Joyful Noise choirs; 9 p.m., with the Chapel Choir; and 11 p.m., with the Chancel Choir.

Seton Center School of Arts will host a Seton Christmas Concert with Santa at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Seton Center Theatre, 1900 Pioneer Ave. Santa will arrive between 6 and 7 p.m., and free refreshments will be available during a reception. TriCounty Choir Institute's Village Singers and Village Quartet will present an "Advent Meditations" concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 21 at Holy Family Polish National Catholic Church, 1921 Eden Park Blvd. There is no charge for admission, but a free will offering will be taken.
The nonprofit McCaffery Mysteries Inc. will present "Scrooge Has Left the Building," a comedy Christmas show, at 7 p.m. tomorrow and Dec. 20 at Gaetano's Restaurant, 1617 Banksville Road. Advent mid-week Eucharist liturgies at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Road, continue at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with a review of "The day of God's vengeance" (Isaiah 61: 1-4, 8-11).
The church will hold Festive Worship Liturgies, as follows: Christmas Eve Candlelight Liturgies, with organ, bell and chancel choirs, guest instrumentalists and the Eucharist, will begin at 5:30, 7:30 and 11 p.m. Dec. 24. Christmas service will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 25. A candlelight liturgy at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6 -- the 12th day of Christmas -- will commemorate the arrival of the Magi at the birthplace of Jesus.
Thomas Jefferson High School Chorus will present a program of songs and Christmas carols at noon next Thursday during a meeting of the Retired Men's Luncheon Group of Pleasant Hills in Fellowship Hall of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, Old Clairton Road and Audrey Drive. Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church will hold its seventh annual Illuminations Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at its 199 Old Clairton Road location.
The winter festival is free and open to the public and provides seasonal music, refreshments and a multitude of activities in the outdoor parking lot and inside the church.
There are more than 10,000 white lights decorating the one-block long church campus.
Shuttle service will operate from the parking lots of the borough building and the Pleasant Hills Middle School beginning at 5:30 p.m. Streets will be closed to traffic.

As part of its 50th anniversary season, the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra, conducted by Warren Davidson, will join Upper St. Clair High School Chorus in a holiday concert performance at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 in the high school theater, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road.
