A Baldwin Borough man was killed yesterday when his motorcycle was struck by a van in Somerset, Washington County.

Charles S. Stepanek, 52, died of blunt force trauma, Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco said.

The crash happened about 3:45 p.m. on Route 136 and Church Road. Mr. Stepanek, on his Harley Davidson motorcycle heading east, was struck when a westbound van made a left turn on Church Road, Mr. Warco said.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.
