Steelers rally in fourth quarter to beat Cowboys

Cornerback Deshea Townsend intercepted a Tony Romo pass and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown with 1:40 left to cap a remarkable fourth-quarter comeback and give the Steelers a 20-13 victory over Dallas at Heinz Field tonight.

The Steelers trailed 13-3 more than halfway through the fourth quarter. But Jeff Reed kicked a 41-yard field goal with 7:15 left and Ben Roethlisberger threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Heath Miller with 2:04 left to tie it.

Romo threw three interceptions in the game, the last to Townsend on a second-and-8 from his 17 as the game appeared on its way to overtime.

The Steelers ran their record to 10-3. The Cowboys fell to 8-5.

The Cowboys led the Steelers, 13-3 after three quarters.

Romo threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Terrell Owens midway through the third quarter for the game's first touchdown.

Nick Folk kicked his second field goal of the game, from 33 yards, to extend the Dallas lead to 13-3.

The teams were tied 3-3 at the half.

Folk kicked a 44-yard field goal on the final play of the half to tie it for Dallas.

Reed kicked a 24-yard field goal with 2:40 left in the second quarter for the only score of the first half. The score came after Ike Taylor intercepted a Romo pass to give the Steelers a first down at the Dallas 22.

Dallas punt returner Pacman Jones returned to play in the second quarter after he was hurt in the first after he bobbling a punt.

The teams were scoreless at the end of the first quarter.
