Ross -- North Hills Community Outreach will gift wrap items for a donation to its food pantry during mall hours from Friday through Dec. 24 in front of Dick's Sporting Goods at Northway Mall, 8000 McKnight Road.

Harmony -- The annual Giving Tree at the Harmony Museum provides a Christmas season opportunity for individuals, families and businesses to support museum improvements and activities. FUNDRAISERS

Pine -- Visit K9 Kingdom, 155 Lake Drive, during the Dog-Wash-a-Thon from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today to raise money to benefit military dogs and their handlers deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. Have your dog professionally bathed and brushed for a $20 donation, bid on auctions, or shop for items for your pet. Richland -- Northern Tier Library, 4015 Dickey Road, will offer a collection of trees, auction items and merchandise throughout the library to raise money for operating costs. The library will raffle "Into the Unknown," a painting by local artist Robert Griffing. Chances are $5 each. Drawing will be Dec. 23. Pine/Richland -- Pine-Richland School District will hold these free holiday performances :

• Eden Hall will host a fifth- and sixth-grade choral concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Eden Hall Upper Elementary School, 3900 Bakerstown Road, Richland.

• A districtwide band concert will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Pine-Richland High School gymnasium, 700 Warrendale Road, Pine.

• Eden Hall will host a fifth- and sixth-grade winter strings concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at Eden Hall Upper Elementary School.

• A high school winter choir concert will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 and a winter orchestra concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at the high school.

Butler Township -- Butler County Parks and Recreation and the township will hold a Breakfast with Santa for children through age 10 from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Butler Township Park building, South Duffy Road. Butler -- Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 Airport Road, will hold its drive-through Nativity from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and next Sunday. WORKSHOPS

Butler -- New workshop schedules are now available for Heritage School at The Succop Conservancy. Courses, including basic blacksmithing, beer brewing, stained glass, scrapbooking, basket weaving and aromatherapy, will be offered on Fridays and Saturdays from January through April 2009. Each one-day workshop, offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., costs $75 and includes coffee, tea and lunch in the historic Marcraig House on the property. Call 724-586-2591.
