• The Grand Concourse is holding a South American Wine Dinner, with Matthew Kulikowski of Banfi Wines, at 7 p.m. Wednesday. • In Bloomfield, the empty space left by Mezzanotte has been filled by Sausalido, which describes itself as New American and European but has an Italian-American slant, at least that's pleasant to see in Pittsburgh's Little Italy. The menu at Sausalido includes pancetta-wrapped scallops ($26) and chicken breasts stuffed with caramelized apples and cranberries ($22). BYOB with a $2 per-person corkage. 412-683-4575, www.sausalido.net.

A TASTE OF VICTORY

Guests may choose between the reception only for $20 per person -- which includes tastes of two Victory brews and a variety of hors d'oeuvres -- and the reception and a six-course dinner with pairings for a total of $80 per person.
