Steelers linebacker James Harrison, who had a sack for a safety and a 33-yard interception return against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Harrison's sack, his team-high 12th, resulted in a fumble and a safety against Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. His interception return near the end of the first half resulted in a field goal.
