An 80-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning on West Liberty Avenue.

Frank Passaro, who lived on West Liberty Avenue, was hit around 5:45 a.m. near Capital Avenue in the city's Brookline neighborhood.

He was taken to UPMC Mercy, where he died around 6:18 a.m.
