Dining out

Peters -- Trinity United Methodist Church, 530 Center Church Road, will serve pancake breakfasts from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. next Sunday in Fellowship Hall. Proceeds benefit the church's Appalachian Service Project.

Fundraisers

Canonsburg -- Wash Arts will hold its fall gala at 8 p.m. Friday in Bella Sera by Greco's Event Center, 414 Morganza Road. An Asian theme will be carried out in art works, a Chinese Dragon Dance, a silent auction, a tea ceremony and Asian folk music. Cost is $75. Call 724-222-1475 for tickets. Proceeds benefit free children's fine arts programming.

Canonsburg -- Canon-McMillan Boys Basketball Boosters will hold a Night at the Races on Saturday at Canonsburg White Eagles, 303 Adams Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30; races at 7:30. Admission includes dinner, beer and soft drinks. For tickets, $10 each, call 724-228-3588.

Health

North Franklin -- Free blood pressure screenings will be available from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in the food court at Washington Crown Center, provided by nurses from Canonsburg General Hospital.

Libraries

Bentleyville -- "Internet Safety, Cyber Bullying and the Law" will be the topic at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Bentleyville Public Library. To register, call 724-239-5122.
