Question: Ed, Will the NFL keep looking into the "bounty" comment or will they ignore it as "talk"? Not that Mendenhall considers it "talk".

BOUCHETTE: It appears the NFL has swept this "investigation" under the rug. They're probably too busy fining Ryan Clark $5,000 for honoring his former teammate, the late Sean Taylor, in his own small way than they are players who blatantly acknowledge they put bounties out on other players, then go and do it. This is the league that threatened Peyton Manning if he wore black high tops to honor Johnny Unitas the week after the great quarterback's death.
