A Clearfield County man was killed yesterday in a one-vehicle crash in Cambria County.

Cesar O. Garcia, 28, of Coalport, died after his Ford Escort crashed into a tree off Route 865 in Reade Township, state police said.

Mr. Garcia had been driving north at 5:50 p.m. when he lost control of his car on a bend in the road.

The car crossed the center line and went off the side of the road.

Mr. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene by Cambria County Coroner Dennis Kwiatkowski.
