The owner of a proposed strip club on West Carson Street has agreed to postpone a hearing before the city's planning commission to Nov. 18.

The hearing had originally been scheduled for Tuesday, Election Day. Some West End community activists requested a new date because many had commitments related to the election and couldn't attend.

Patrick Risha, through his company, Marquise Investments, has applied for a conditional use permit to operate what he describes as an upscale adult entertainment center at 1635 W. Carson St., near Station Square.
