Suspect arrested in fatal bar shooting

A man wanted for a homicide Sunday on Warrington Avenue was arrested this afternoon in Beltzhoover.

The Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force tracked Adriel Russell to an apartment in the 400 block of Kingsboro Street. Mr. Russell, 24, of Arlington, was wanted on charges of criminal homicide, possession of a firearm without a license and aggravated assault, stemming from an incident at Longo's Bank Cafe on Warrington Avenue.

Clayton Thompson, 31, of Brentwood, was killed in the shooting.

When officers announced themselves at the apartment about 12:45 p.m., Mr. Russell opened the door and surrendered without incident.
