Pittsburgh police are searching for a woman who robbed a Downtown bank on Monday.
The woman, whom police describe as white, 5-foot-3 and in her mid to late 20s, entered the Dollar Bank at 400 Stanwix St., waited in line, then handed a note to a teller demanding cash, police said.
The note implied she had a gun, but police said she did not brandish a weapon.
The woman is said to have a bad facial complexion, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood over her head, concealing her hair and part of her face. She was also wearing blue jeans, black, oversized leather gloves and large-framed square sunglasses.
Anyone with information on the robbery should call the police bureau's Robbery Squad at 412-323-7151.
