When it comes to Infiniti, any one of them will do just fine for me.
Regular readers of my column know that I'm mad for Infiniti, because of their performance, uncompromising edginess in styling, their willingness to push the envelope, and the fact that they are not for everyone.
They are undeniably cars for those who don't want what everybody else has, and those who have a special eye for styling and ear for rich exhaust sounds -- of which Infiniti cars have in abundance.
This year, Infiniti is raising the roof on its G37 line, with a brand new convertible that is to be introduced later this year. More about that in the next buyers guide.
For the first time, thanks to a larger engine, the sedan now carries the G37 nomenclature instead of G35. Power comes from a 3.7-liter, 330-horsepower V-6 which is rated at 15-17/22-25 miles per gallon. The G37 series is priced between $34,000 and $41,000.
The M35/45, priced between $45,000 to $55,500, is one of the auto industry's coolest luxury sedan -- and one of the more interesting, thanks to a lovely interior that features Asian/Oriental influences.
This model year, the big change is a new 310-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6, rated at 14 to 17 and 20 to 24 miles per gallon.
