A Pittsburgh-area family will receive a visit and a new house from the TV show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" this month.

Developer Montgomery & Rust Inc. has been asked to work with Ty Pennington and the program's designers to build a house in a week for one of five deserving local families. Construction will begin shortly after the family and location are announced Oct. 17. Montgomery & Rust is seeking volunteers and donations for the project.
