Friday, October 10, 2008

• MT. LEBANON got its first win last week. The Blue Devils have a tough climb tonight in conference play at Canon-McMillan.

• JOBY LAPKOWICZ is back at QB for Carmichaels after an ankle injured in the baseball season healed. He ran for two scores last week.

• CLAIRTON. Can anyone trap these Bears? They are averaging 49.6 points in the past three games. Burgettstown better be ready.

• YOUGH bumped up from Class AA to AAA this year. No problem, say the Cougars, who already clinched a playoff spot out of the Keystone Conference.

• CODY COOK, a junior RB at Beaver Falls, rushed for 238 yards last week. He needs 70 tonight vs. Mohawk to surpass 1,000 this year.
