A pizza delivery man has been questioned and police intend to charge him in connection with two incidents in Brentwood where women were molested on the street this week.
The suspect was questioned today about the assaults, which were reported Tuesday afternoon on Brownsville Road, police Chief Robert Butelli said.
One woman told police a man startled her from behind at about 1:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Brownsville in front of the construction site of a new medical building.
The woman said the suspect touched her buttocks and fled.
Another woman said a similar incident occurred at about 5:50 p.m. in the 3800 block of Brownsville.
Chief Butelli said a witness came forward today with descriptive information about the suspect's appearance, clothing and vehicle.
The suspect has been released, pending a police consultation with the Allegheny County district attorney's office to determine whether he should be charged with something other than indecent assault and simple assault.
