Cambria County crash kills Pittsburgh man

A Pittsburgh man was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night in Cambria County, state police said.

Raylaun Thornton, 23, was traveling on U.S. 219 in East Carroll at about 11:15 p.m. when his car left the roadway, flipped onto its side and struck a guardrail. Mr. Thornton was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger, Shannon Brown, 25, of Hastings, was taken to Conemaugh Hospital with moderate injuries, police said.
