State police have charged a Hill District man with drug possession and delivery after an undercover agent purchased heroin from him in Indiana County.
Justin Colbert, 23, of Shipton Street, was arrested Friday after the agent paid $550 for heroin, police said. He was carrying more than $4,000 in cash and a loaded pistol.
On Saturday, police searched his vehicle at Indiana Mall and said they found 236 stamp bags of heroin, an ounce of cocaine, 10 grams of marijuana, digital scales, a pistol magazine and ammunition.
He faces a preliminary hearing later this month. District Judge Susanne V. Steffee of Homer City ordered him held in the Indiana County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bond.
