Wal-Mart is recalling about 210,000 General Electric Toasters. An electrical short circuit can occur between the heating element and the bread cage, posing a fire and electrical shock hazard to consumers. Wal-Mart has received 140 reports of fires or sparks coming from the toasters or the toasters tripping circuit breakers in consumers' homes.
The recalled toasters have a chrome steel body, a black plastic base and controls with either two or four openings in the top. The GE logo is located on the front of the toasters just above the controls. Model numbers 169115 and 169116 are included in this recall. The model number is printed on the bottom of the toasters.
Wal-Mart stores sold the toasters from September 2007 through July 2008 for between $17 and $28.

Pottery Barn is recalling about 30,000 wooden hammock stands. When used outdoors, the wood in the hammock stand can deteriorate over time and break, posing a risk of falls and lacerations.
Pottery Barn has received 12 reports of injuries requiring medical attention, including lacerations, neck and back pain, bruising, and one incident involving fractured ribs and about 50 reports of the hammock stand breaking.
The stands measure about 1541/2 inches long by 531/2 inches high by 53 inches wide. There are two black metal brackets on the base and on the arms of the hammock stand. All Pottery Barn two-pole wooden hammock stands sold from 2003 through 2008 are included in this recall.
Pottery Barn sold the stands through its catalog and Web site from March 2003 through July 2008 for about $300.
Consumers should remove the two top side brackets of the hammock stand and dispose of the remaining portion of the hammock stand. Viessmann Manufacturing Co. Inc. is recalling about 4,600 Vitodens 200 boilers. The boilers can leak gas, posing a fire hazard.
The gas-fired boilers are white, wall-mounted and have "Viessmann" and "Vitodens 200" printed on the exterior in silver letters. The model and serial numbers included in the recall are listed below. The model number is located on the silver rating plate on the side of the boiler. Contact your certified HVAC contractor to open the boiler and locate the serial number on a white label on the side of the boiler, or under the bottom support panel. Vitodens 100 boilers are not included in this recall.
Plumbing and heating contractors nationwide sold the boilers from January 2002 through December 2007 for between $4,000 and $7,500.
Consumers should stop using the boilers and contact their certified heating contractor or Viessmann for a free replacement of the boiler's O-ring.

Ikea is recalling about 5,000 "KVIBY" chests sold in the United States. The glass drawer knobs on the chest can break either during assembly or in use, posing a laceration hazard to consumers. IKEA has received three reports of laceration injuries requiring medical attention.
The recalled KVIBY Chest is white with 4 drawers and 6 glass knobs. The recall includes chests with article number 201-080-90 and a date stamp of 0817 (first two digits indicate the year; the second two digits indicate the week) or earlier. The article number and date stamp are located on a label attached to the underside of the chest. KVIBY chests with a date stamp of 0818 and later have improved replacement knobs and screws and are not included in the recall.
IKEA stores sold the chests from August 2007 through July 2008 for about $300.
