Allegheny County sheriff's deputies arrested a man wanted on attempted homicide charges yesterday when he went to the courthouse for hearings on unrelated drug charges.
William Lee was wanted for the Aug. 11 robbery and shooting of Tarik Phillips on Deraud Street in the Hill District, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies at the courthouse yesterday discovered warrants for attempted homicide and aggravated assault during a routine check, and arrested Mr. Lee without incident. He was lodged in the Allegheny County Jail.
