Local Cars: Pandemonium and the Pittsburgh 100
Friday, September 19, 2008

Lernerville Speedway will present the rescheduled Street Stock Pandemonium tonight at 7:30.

The Pandemonium for the UMP DIRTcar Street Stocks is a 30-lap, $2000 to-win feature. "Open Rules" will bring out the best competition from all around the tri-state.

Bob Egley, the 2008 Lernerville Street Stock track champion, will face the likes of Wayne Carbo, Pat Hanley and Bob Lipinski. Missing from the mix will be Jason Fosnaught. Fosnaught finished third in points, sold his car and has moved up to the Crate Late Model division at PPMS.

Egley's first career street stock championship comes after a few near misses, but the Kittanning native is glad the point season is over.

"The pressure is off now. I am just out to have fun; what happens, happens," Egley said about the $2,000 to-win feature tonight.

More than 80 cars are entered in the 100-lap Enduro race tonight with $1,000 going to the winner.
