CRAFT SHOWS

FESTIVALS

Mars -- Learn about small local businesses during the Back to School Fun Fest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20 at Heritage Professional Building, off Route 228. McCandless -- Pittsburgh North People for Peace and the North Hills Anti-Racism Coalition will sponsor a family celebration of peace from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 at Kearns Spirituality Center, 9000 Babcock Blvd. TV and radio personality Lynn Cullen will speak. Valencia -- Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, is now accepting registrations for the 2008-09 Upward basketball and cheerleading season. Early rates apply until Oct. 7.
