Bethel Park -- Ruth Richardson will be the featured artist at South Arts' new exhibit, Autumn Light, from Sept. 27 to Nov. 7 at South Arts Gallery, Schoolhouse Art Center, 2600 South Park Road. CHURCH ACTIVITIES

Brentwood -- St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 4048 Brownsville Road, will offer baby-sitting services from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 19. Children will be able to participate in age-appropriate activities. Parents should pack a small snack; drinks will be provided. Per-hour cost is $3 for the first child, $2 for the second, and $1 for each additional. Reservations are recommended. FLEA MARKETS

Bethel Park -- Prime Time adult day care will sponsor a communitywide flea market from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road. Table rental fee is $15. Proceeds will benefit the elderly and others who receive services through the nonprofit organization.

Duquesne -- The Hungarian Reformed Church, 1411 Kennedy Ave., will host a Super Flea Market from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. With the exception of speciality items, everything will be sold for $3 per customer-filled bag. Refreshments will be available.

Mt. Lebanon -- Mt. Lebanon Band Builders will hold its annual outdoor flea market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Mt. Lebanon High School parking lot, 155 Cochran Road. Rain date is Sunday. Proceeds will benefit the Marching Blue Devils Band.

South Park -- The Women's Guild of Nativity Church, 5811 Curry Road, will be host to a fall flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be a bake sale and raffles, with prizes that include Steelers tickets.

FUNDRAISERS

Bethel Park -- The second annual J.R. Taylor Memorial Bike Run and Tailgate Party will be held Sunday, beginning and ending at Al's Cafe, 435 McMurray Road. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast for preregistered bikers and passengers. Motorcycles leave at 10 a.m. for an escorted, 80-mile ride through Washington County. A tailgate party will follow. Cost: preregistered bikers, $35; $40 event day; $5 passengers. Tailgate party: $20 per passenger and others; free for age 12 and younger. Proceeds will benefit the J.R. Taylor memorial bridge to be built on the Bethel Park branch of the Montour Trail. Green Tree -- The nonprofit FosterCat Inc., an all-volunteer organization formed in 1999 to provide for temporary care and permanent placement of homeless kittens and cats, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. Homestead -- The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a Waterfront Food and Wine Celebration from 5 to 8 p.m. next Thursday at The Waterfront Town Square, 149 W. Bridge St. Donate $15 to the food bank and sample food from more than 10 restaurants, wine from local wineries, beer from Rock Bottom Brewery and martinis from Bar Louie. Peters -- Pleasant Hills Rotary will hold its annual golf outing Wednesday at Lindenwood Golf Club, with a shot-gun start at 10 a.m. Cost is $95 per golfer and includes dinner, 18 holes of golf and cart, food and beverages, and skill prizes. Top prize is a two-year lease on a Cadillac. Profits will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation and other Rotary charities. Upper St. Clair -- The nonprofit Early Learning Institute, a specialized childhood education organization, will host Fore Kids!, a golf benefit, at St. Clair Country Club at 9 a.m. Sept. 29. Scramble format, shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. There will be putting contests and a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. Proceeds to benefit the institute's preschool programs. McKeesport -- The Garden Club of McKeesport will celebrate its 75th anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Margaret Larson Memorial Building, 1400 Pinoak Drive, in Renziehausen Park, off Eden Park Boulevard. Baldwin Borough -- UPMC Mercy and Baldwin Emergency Medical Services will present "Home Safe Home," a free program for senior citizens, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Baldwin EMS headquarters, 1 Readshaw Way. • ABC, Music & Me: 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for ages 2-3; 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for ages 4-5. Additional fee: $30 for a home materials kit.

• Choi Kwang Do and martial arts instruction: 4:15 to 5 p.m. for ages 3-5; 6 to 7 p.m. for ages 6-12; 7 to 8 p.m. for ages 13 and older. Additional $25 fee for uniform.
