Little Bites: A Night in Budapest

• The Gypsy Cafe on the South Side has put together a special evening for those who love Hungarian food and music. Pittsburgh's George Batyi and The Gypsy Strings will join Chicago cimbalom player Alex Udvary for a private concert on Sept. 12 at 8:30 p.m. Alex Udvary will be playing a full-sized cimbalom, an instrument rarely heard outside of Eastern Europe. During the concert, the restaurant will provide a five-course Hungarian meal. Hungarian wines are also available. The dinner and concert are $35 per person, tax and tip excluded.
