Wednesday, September 03, 2008

Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark will return in 2009.

Spokesman Jeff Nelson said today that Clark has completed more than 80 percent of the credits required to earn his degree in Telecommunications and will regain another year of eligibility.

Clark, a non-academic qualifier who attended Kiski School before enrolling at Penn State, is on schedule to graduate next May.

He made his first career start last Saturday against Coastal Carolina, completing 11 of 14 passes for 146 yards and one touchdown.

He will be a fifth-year senior next fall.
