Reality TV: LC back for fourth season of 'The Hills'
Friday, August 22, 2008

Lauren is back on MTV's "The Hills" for a fourth season. She goes on a date with former teen flame Doug and invites him to roomie Audrina's pool party, where she ditches him because she has to deal with her other cranky roommate, Lo, who would rather stay inside and play with the dog than socialize with Audrina's mohawked friends. Since when did Lo turn into such a witch? Later, Lo confronts Audrina about the tension, but Audrina dishes it right back, telling Lo they'll never be friends. Me-ow! Poor Lauren just wishes for the old days. "I want us to be like how we used to be, you know?" she says. Meanwhile, Heidi's sister, Holly, visits, which upsets on-again flame Spencer. Heidi begs him to be civil to her sis, but he refuses and freaks when Heidi tells Holly she can stay at their apartment for a while. Bring on the drama. ... I'm so glad "The Hills" is back!

"The Hills" airs Monday at 10 p.m. on MTV.

On one of the wildest "Project Runway" episodes ever, the final 11 must create looks for drag queens. Joe's pink jumpsuit is a hit with Varla Jean Merman.

"My inspiration was Ann-Margret on 'The Love Boat,'" challenge winner Joe says. Kudos to Suede for working through the drama with Hedda Lettuce. His green number was divine and should have been in the top three. Keith and Daniel are in the bottom two, and Daniel is out with his neon pink and yellow, tie-dye-like cocktail dress for Annida Greenkard. It's just not flashy enough for a drag queen.

"Project Runway" airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

On "The Greatest American Dog," rescue mutt Bella Starlet begins acting aggressive, nipping at some of the contestants at Canine Academy. She blows The Big Dig challenge -- which Bill & Star and Travis & Presley win, earning the Dog Bone Suite and phone calls from home. Teresa & Leroy win the Puppy Maze challenge, but it's no shocker the Australian Shepherd is good at herding puppies. Beth Joy & Bella Starlet are eliminated when the judges see she's stressed out and fails to corral the pups. Of course it's a teary goodbye for Beth Joy, who says of her soulmate, Bella Starlet, "I never knew what love was until she came into my life." She's a little crazy but still sweet.

"Greatest American Dog" airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.

On "The Two Coreys," Corey Haim ditches Dr. Nicki when she forces him to watch video of his explosive fight with Corey and Susie Feldman. On the way home, Haim wrecks his car. Clearly intoxicated, he begs a producer and his assistant, Nelle, to flush his medications down the toilet, but refuses to ditch all the drugs. The next day, Haim calls Feldman, asking for a final "closure" meeting, but Feldman never shows and a seemingly inebriated Haim says they're officially done. With Feldman's frustration over Haim's scary state, I wouldn't be surprised if the best buds really are through.

"The Two Coreys" airs Sunday at 10 p.m. on A&E.

Crybaby of the week

... is Rodeo on "I Love Money." She'll do anything to try to convince Paymaster Megan to keep her around, whether it's pouring her drinks or crying to her dog, but it doesn't work. Her apologies are useless. Megan says she can't trust sneaky Rodeo, so it's back to making barbecue sauce for the "Rock of Love" alum.

"I Love Money" airs Sunday at 11 a.m. and 9 and 10:30 p.m.
