JORDAN HALL

SCHOOL: Jeannette

POSITION: Running back/defensive back

HEIGHT: 5-9 WEIGHT: 181

THE SKINNY: He helped Jeannette to WPIAL and PIAA Class AA championships last season as the team's second-leading rusher with 872 yards on 103 carries and also scored 32 touchdowns.

COLLEGE TALK: Chose Ohio State in April after also considering scholarship offers from Pitt, Penn State, Michigan and Notre Dame, among others.

WOULD YOU EVER WEAR A SWEATER VEST LIKE OHIO STATE COACH JIM TRESSEL'S? Most definitely. It is a different style, but it is a great style.

THERE HAS BEEN SOME TALK ABOUT YOU PLAYING A LITTLE QUARTERBACK THIS YEAR ... TRUE OR NOT? I'll leave that up until the first game for everyone to see. But maybe you will see me a little bit there.

YOU ARE 5-9, SO WHAT DO YOU TELL THE PEOPLE WHO SAY YOU ARE TOO SMALL? Just play against me and then say that.

THE BEST HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER YOU HAVE SEEN NOT NAMED TERRELLE PRYOR? My brother. His name is Derrick Hall. He graduated [from Jeannette] in 2001. I always looked up to him when I was younger.

IT IS LATE AT NIGHT, YOU ARE HUNGRY, YOU EAT ...? I'll make a steak-and-cheese sandwich.
