Penn State defensive lineman out with broken leg
Monday, August 18, 2008

Penn State's defensive line has suffered another blow.

Redshirt freshman tackle Devon Still, competing for playing time as a backup behind starters Ollie Ogbu and Abe Koroma, suffered a broken leg during a scrimmage Saturday and will have surgery this week. He could miss at least two months.

In late July, projected starting tackles Chris Baker and Phil Taylor were dismissed from the team by coach Joe Paterno because of off-the-field issues.

Still, 6 feet 5 and 302 pounds, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee a week into preseason practice a year ago.
