A Carnegie woman and her two grown sons have been charged with illegal sales of narcotics from their home.
Carnegie police and agents from the Allegheny County district attorney's narcotics enforcement team had been investigating the family for about six months before charges were filed Tuesday against the trio.

Helen Kovach, 44, of Midland Avenue, was arraigned on two counts of conspiracy to possess and deliver Oxycodone. Her bail was set at $10,000.
Investigators said Ms. Kovach assisted her sons in an illegal drug trade in Carnegie. Borough police and the district attorney's detectives began gathering evidence against the Kovaches last February.
Her son, Gary Kovach, 24, was arraigned at the Allegheny County Jail where he is being held without bail because of an outstanding bench warrant.
He is charged with two counts each of possession of Oxycodone, possession with intent to deliver the drug, and delivery of the powerful narcotic; and one count of conspiracy.
His brother, Toby Kovach, 21, is charged with possession, possession with intent to deliver and delivery of the drug.
Toby Kovach already had been in county jail on unrelated charges. He was awaiting arraignment this morning on the charges.
Investigators said in a sworn affidavit that Ms. Kovach "had full knowledge of the criminal activity and in fact participated with her sons in the sale of the Oxycodone to undercover detectives."
Carnegie police Chief Jeff Harbin said all three family members were involved with the sales of Oxycontin, Oxycodone and Percocet pills.
Undercover officers were introduced to the family in February when the first buy was made from Toby Kovach, Chief Harbin said.
At least two subsequent buys, using marked money, were made from the Kovach men.
The mother was involved by confirming, when the undercover officer knocked on her door, that the visitor wanted to buy drugs. She also provided transportation for her sons to meet the buyers away from their home.
A preliminary hearing for the family tentatively is set for Aug. 21 before District Judge Gary M. Zyra in Carnegie.
