A man with at least 10 prior drunken driving convictions was convicted once again yesterday.
After a brief bench trial, Allegheny County Judge Randal B. Todd found Robert E. Neville, 44, guilty of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, being a habitual offender and five other summary counts.
The defendant's brother testified that an open beer found in Mr. Neville's car was his and not the defendant's. But the judge found Mr. Neville guilty and set sentencing for Oct. 20.
Defense attorney Sid Sokolsky said he had no comment about the previous DUI convictions, but said it was only Mr. Neville's second DUI conviction in the last 10 years.
