A Fayette County couple suffered serious injuries last night when the driver lost control of his car on Route 43 in Washington County.
The crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. in California, Pa.
State police said the driver, Shamel Bumpass, 39, and a passenger, Shawn Bumpass, 38, both of Brownsville, were ejected from a sport utility vehicle when the driver lost control on a curve and the vehicle rolled over three times. Both were flown to Allegheny General Hospital.
Both were not wearing seat belts, police said.
Two dogs that were in the vehicle were uninjured.
