Bayer AG said Greg Babe will become president and chief executive officer of its U.S. subsidiary, based in Robinson, effective Oct. 1.

Mr. Babe, 51, will retain his position as president and chief executive of Bayer MaterialScience. He will also become Bayer's senior representative in North America. The company is based in Germany. He succeeds Attila Molnar, 60, who will retire.
