Bethel Park -- South Arts Gallery, located in Schoolhouse Art Center, 2600 South Park Road, holds an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday for its annual juried show, Gold Rush, which continues through Sept. 19. Juror is artist Robert Schmalzreid, who studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. Summer gallery hours are from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays; and noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. CHARITY

South Park -- South Hills Interfaith Ministries is accepting donations for its Back-to-School Program, which benefits school-age children of suburban poor and refugee families in Baldwin Township, Baldwin Borough, Bethel Park, Castle Shannon, Mt. Lebanon, South Park, Upper St. Clair and Whitehall. School supplies such as backpacks, notebook paper, pens, pencils and the like can be dropped off, through Aug. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the SHIM center, 1900 Sleepy Hollow Road. FESTIVALS

South Park -- St. Joan of Arc Church, Route 88, will holds its annual parish festival through Saturday, with nightly dinners from 5 to 7 p.m. in Domremy Pavilion and entertainment at 7 p.m. Activity booths are open from 7 to 11 p.m. today, 6:30 to 11 p.m. tomorrow, and 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday The event features ethnic and festival foods, amusement rides, bingo, games of chance, a ticket auction and more.

FLEA MARKETS & SALES

Bethel Park -- St. Germaine Parish will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow and Saturday at the church, Baptist and Horning roads.

FUNDRAISERS

Elizabeth Township -- Elizabeth Forward School District will hold its second annual golf outing on Aug. 8 at Butler's Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. The cost, which includes golfing, cart, snacks, lunch and prizes, is $100 per person or $375 for a foursome. Mt. Lebanon -- The nonprofit McCaffery Mysteries Inc. will present "It's My Party ... And I'll Die If I Want To!," a murder mystery dinner show, at 7 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 16 at Gaetano's Restaurant, 1617 Banksville Road. Tickets, $27.50. Other shows: Sept. 13, 27. HEALTH

McKeesport -- On Aug. 9 and 10, walkers will go around the clock in the battle against cancer during an American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Teams of eight to 15 members will gather at noon Aug. 9 at McKeesport High School, 1960 Eden Park Blvd., taking turns walking or running around a track overnight and taking part in fun activities off the track. Beechview -- Beechview Area Concerned Citizens and the Beechview Block Watch will hold a Night Out Against Crime party from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot at Broadway and Beechview avenues. There will be hot dogs, soft drinks, music, a raffle, a bake sale and speakers from the police department.

Duquesne -- The city's 17th annual Community Day & Reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Duquesne Athletic Football Stadium, Commonwealth Avenue. There will be free food, games, music and entertainment.
