A Fayette County man died early yesterday after he crashed his motorcycle on Route 51 in Perry, state police said.

Corey Allen Silbaugh, 21, of Perryopolis, was killed at 2:30 a.m. after crashing in the southbound lanes of Route 51, about a quarter-mile south of Route 201. Troopers said he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a guide rail beside the highway.

Mr. Silbaugh was wearing a helmet, troopers said.
